What will a business memory never do for me?
It will not read your mind, decide for you or keep a copy of your business on our servers. Six limits of a business memory, and what each one buys you.
A business memory will never read your mind, decide for you, run on a sleeping computer, or keep a copy of your business on our servers. It will not survive total neglect, and it will not be perfect in week one. Each "will not" is the price of a promise: every answer comes with its file, and the record stays on your own computer.

Every sales page tells you what the product does. Very few print what it will NOT do.
We print ours. Here are the six limits of a business memory, in plain words, and what each one buys you.
Will a business memory read my mind?
No. It only keeps what comes through a door.
A business memory has three doors: meetings, papers and expenses. A call nobody recorded is a call it never heard. A deal that stayed in your head stays in your head.
Why build it that way? Because a memory that "just knows" would have to guess where it learned things. A business memory does not guess. Every answer points to the file it came from — and a file only exists if something came through a door.
What you get for it: every answer comes with its source.
Will a business memory decide for me?
No. It is not a CRM, a to-do app, a calendar or an accounting tool.
It remembers what happened. You decide what to do about it.
And when it is not sure — two customers with the same name, a note that could go in two places — it does not pick one and sound sure. It sets that one item aside and asks you, in one sentence.
What you get for it: you never have to wonder if it guessed.
Does a business memory work when my computer is off?
No. It needs your machine awake and the app open.
It is not a service running somewhere else for you. Turn the computer off for a week, and nothing gets filed that week.
What you get for it: the record lives on a machine you own, not on ours.
Does a business memory keep my records on your servers?
No. Your files stay on your computer, as plain text files.
No vendor cloud holds your record. You have no account on our servers. There is no copy of your business on a machine you do not own.
Now the honest part. When you ask a question, the AI you chose reads what it needs to answer it. That is true of every AI tool. We would rather tell you now than have you find out later.
What you get for it: the record is yours, and any AI can read it — today's and next year's.
What happens if I stop feeding my business memory?
It stops helping. Ten minutes a day is the job.
Skip a month, and you have a filing cabinet again. The doors only help with what you send through them.
So, the software will not carry the habit for you. You still show up — a little, every day.
What you get for it: ten minutes a day, instead of a lost afternoon digging for one paper.
Will a business memory be perfect in week one?
No. Week one is setup, mistakes, and learning what goes through which door.
And here is the part most companies would hide: we have zero paying customers today. Business Memory has run inside our own businesses. It has not yet run for thirty days inside somebody else's.
Anyone who promises you a perfect memory on day one is selling a story, not a record.
What you get for it: the truth, before you pay.
Why print the limits of a business memory at all?
Because a business memory is only worth something if you can trust it.
A tool that promises everything makes you check everything. A tool that tells you where it stops lets you stop checking.
Every "will not" is the price of a "will."
No mind-reading is why every answer has a file. No copy on our servers is why the record stays yours. No guessing is why "I don't know" means something.
That is the whole idea. A business memory is a private record of everything your business knows — what was agreed, paid, promised and decided — kept on your own computer as plain text files any AI can read, so you can ask anything and get the answer with the exact reference behind it.
Questions people ask
Can a business memory be shared with my team?
Yes, by vault. Everyone you invite to a vault sees all of it. A business memory will not give each person a different view inside one vault, so records meant for different people go in different vaults.
Does a business memory send my files anywhere?
Your files stay on your own computer, and there is no copy of your business on our servers. When you ask a question, the AI you chose reads what it needs to answer it.
Does a business memory guess when it is not sure?
No. It sets the item aside and asks you one plain question. Your answer files it.
How much time does a business memory take?
About ten minutes a day in the first month, then less. Skip a month and it falls behind, like any record nobody keeps.
